Well, that is what everyone keeps saying about me and the 1/2 marathon I am running on Saturday morning. If you aren't up on marathon distance...that's 13.1 miles...it makes me tremble just typing it. I have a mix of emotions about the whole thing. I am ridiculously excited about 2 whole hours to myself (well myself and 1200 other nut-jobs who will be running with me) but thinking it is a pretty sad state of affairs that I have to run 13.1 miles in order to get a little "me time". Oh the sacrifices we make as mothers, wives, business owners! Anywhoo, why am I telling all of you about my exercise in pure torture...well of course we will have to celebrate! So, if you are one of the crazies running with me bring in your bib and get 30% off your entire purchase on race day! If you want to come and cheer us on the race starts at 7am at PLEX and we will finish at the fountain at around 9ish...probably wishful thinking but a girl can dream right!?!?!
