A few of my favorite things!

So, when you own the store it's tough to pick favorites but if you have asked me what I think then you know I don't think you have to have every little thing that comes out to scrap with.  Some are just plain junk and you will never use it but now and then I come across some really fabulous tools that I can't live without.  I thought I would share those with you and then I want to hear what your favorite tool is!  Comment by Friday at 6pm and you will win a tool or two from Scrappin' Creations!

Favorite adhesive...

Loving the new adhesives from American Crafts!  They are better than our beloved Kokyou because they work as well if not better but they are WAY CHEAPER!  I use this for all paper to paper, picture to paper sorts of things but this is my other equally as favorite...

This guy works perfectly for anything heavy that you want to add to a project.  It is also fabulous for chipboard albums!

Favorite Scissors...

These little guys are fabulous and little and perfect in every way.  You need them for all that precise little cutting stuff!

Last but not least is just one of my favorite tools that I reach for on a regular basis...the Tim Holtz Paper Distresser

First off a big thanks to all of your kind words about the video!  The purpose was to try it out so that we can start doing short videos to post once a week on techniques but I need to find a faster way to create the video...that one took about 4 hours to upload!  No worries though...I have another option!

It is a well known fact by many of my closest friends and family members that I love the Hampton Inn.  I am not a big traveler but not long ago I was a corporate working woman and I traveled over 6 states.  My company paid for my accomodations and I moved up in the world and always stayed at Hampton Inn because they have the most comfy beds on the planet.  Big, cushy beds.  Luxurious bedding.  Fluffy pillows.  Some of you high faluten peeps might be thinking that Hampton is slumming it but when you are a girl who was happy with a clean Motel 6, you have hit the jackpot when you move up to a Hampton.  The problem now is that I have become a hotel snob of sorts.  I ALWAYS want to stay in a Hampton...even if I am not on vacation! :)  So, when we needed rooms for our out-of-towners coming to cropscrops, I contacted the Hampton for great rates! Their rates were the same that they always are...$89 a night...comfy beds and all!  I knew there were better rates out there but I couldn't sway.  Not this time.  I heard rumor that the Jameson Inn on Two Notch is fabulous, with kitchenettes etc and the rate is only $59 a night!  WOOOOHOOO!  More money for paper and glitter!  So, give them a call and tell them you are with us and get your room booked today!  And let me know if the bed is super comfy!
